2024 Circle of Excellence Member 
The CPCU Society’s Circle of Excellence Recognition Program awards each chapter for its efforts to achieve benchmarks in chapter performance. The Program provides chapter leaders, and committee and task force chairs, with structure and guidance to achieve strategic, chapter and member goals. Presque Isle has earned the Platinum recognition by achieving key initiatives of the Society's strategic plan.

2024 Best Practices Recognition Award Recipient
The Presque Isle Chapter has established an exemplary best practice for recognizing new CPCU designees with a dedicated formal dinner and conferment ceremony.
Each year, the chapter hosts a stand-alone event that brings together new designees, chapter members, and past presidents, with a Global CPCU Leader invited to perform the conferment and offer words of encouragement.
A highlight of the event is when several new designees are invited to share their experiences with the group, fostering a sense of community and inspiration.
This year's ceremony took place in July and saw great success, with a strong turnout and engaging speeches from the designees. The program not only celebrates new designees but also encourages future chapter involvement, as many go on to volunteer.
This best practice can be replicated by chapters with carrier support and a defined budget by creating a formal, stand-alone ceremony and involving the new designees in the program. Holding the event in July, after the final testing period but before In2Risk, proved to be an ideal timing for the chapter.
